FNPRWG 2022 Meeting #1 - First Nations Investment Screening Approach (CEFC) and update from the First Nations Heritage Protection Alliance

Our first meeting for 2022 included a special presentation by Simon Every, Head of Government and Stakeholder Relations and Sebastian Loewensteijn, Associate Director, Sustainability from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) who discussed CEFC’s First Nations investment screening approach. This meeting also included several updates, including investor action on state and federal cultural heritage protection legislation, and what is on the horizon in 2022 for First Nations peoples’ rights, responsible investment and sustainable finance.
