MEMBER ONLY – Tax Transparency and multinational companies – an issue for responsible investors

8 April 2014

Tax avoidance has been elevated up the policy agenda in 2014 with Prime Minster Abbott taking his clear message to Davos in January that this was to be a key theme tackled by the G20 under his presidency.

So what implications does tax avoidance have for Australian and New Zealand companies and importantly, could these result in share price impacts?

In this RIAA member only briefing, we look to explore this issue in detail with a panel who will consider where this issue can have a material impact on Australian and New Zealand responsible investors.

This meeting will thoroughly brief our members on what to look out for as investment risks relating to tax issues, and possible channels for engagement.
